I Remember PWA 

I remember PWA
Standing in the cold on a winter's day
outside a building so very small
you were lucky to find any seat at all
before the show began

I remember Kato Storm
and hot dogs, cool, and coffee, warm
And Red Anderson wearing a dress
And The Lightning Kidd, under duress
Swearing revenge on The Black Sheep

I remember Maze and Cruze
battling each other with nothing to lose
And Vortex and Iceberg, Kornbred and Plank
Pure entertainment taken to the bank
every Sunday afternoon

Some people say I live in the past
in fleeting moments always doomed not to last
but for me back then it was the best of times
inadequately remembered in pictures and rhymes
and friends who've moved on 

Most of all I remember the fans
the joy they felt as they clapped their hands
for Dan Delicious and Tyrone Holly
and Sasso and Irish and El Guappo, by Golly
Those were the days my friend

Some of the workers who entertained us so thoroughly during the PWA time are pictured here in a group portrait that says volumes about the synergy that was this promotion. Especially missed is C-note, whom we enjoyed, Macobi, who could slap the sweat off an opponent's face by hitting him open handed in the chest, and Nick Bondage, a performer so talented that he made it all seem effortless. Kornbred we are privileged to catch at venues such as the recent WXW show, and Bobby Doll, we miss not only for his ring skills but also for his leadership and charisma.
